2 Day Pastel Workshop for intermediate to experienced pastelists (beginners with some prior experience welcome)
SEPTEMBER 16th to 26th, 2024
Stephie Clark is an Australian based soft pastel artist, best known for her uninhibited exploration of the natural world. Self-taught, Stephie began her love affair with soft pastels in 2011, cultivating inspiration from the Impressionism art movement and her close observation of beauty in nature. Naturally, she is also drawn to nature photography and uses many of her original photographs as references in her soft pastel paintings.
Since becoming a full-time artist, Stephie divides her time between painting in her country studio in Armidale and teaching workshops at home, online and abroad. She loves sharing the raw potential of the pastel medium, bringing a subject to life through colour, light and composition. Stephie cherishes her connection with her many students worldwide and has an active Patreon community in which she shares monthly tutorials, mentorship and material reviews.
Stephie has been a featured artist in demonstrations held by the Pastel Society in Australia and New Zealand. She is also a member of the Pastel Guild of Europe and has been interviewed & featured in French magazine, Pratique des Arts. Stephie Clark’s original artworks and prints are available for purchase on her website.

Join us for the day to teach you how to paint our field of sunflowers. Each session is 2 hours and all art supplies are included in the course.

After the session wander through the field to pick your own sunflowers, we will supply secateurs so you can cut the sunflowers.
Our friendly staff will place the sunflowers into a bouquet, so you can take your new painting and bouquet home.
Bring a friend and enjoy a great morning on the farm. All materials are included in the price.

CAN I SELL ARTWORK FROM A TUTORIAL OR WORKSHOP? COPYRIGHT?
I have had quite a few people ask what the rules and regulations are in regards to selling artworks which is done under instruction. This is a very personal decision and differs from artist to artist. Anyone who participates in my wokshops or online tutorials are learning, this is how we learn by copying the artists and masters of the art we love. This is certainly how I have learnt and progressed over the years by studying and copying the masters I adore.
As a professional artist earning a living from my art I ask that you don't sell any work that has been produced under instruction through a tutorial or a workshop. I love seeing work that has been created from workshop and tutorials and appreciate when you share your work and credit the artist when sharing.
Gifting any artwork which has been produced is absolutely acceptable and please remember to sign your work its important to know who's work it is.
